In the first room, there aren't many aspects of the room in terms of decorations. This could mean the person is more private and does not wish to share as many aspects of their life with visitors, although they do share some of their interests. This includes the Eminem poster, this may be used to show visitors one of their favorite artists, possibly gaining knowledge of visitors having the same knowledge. There are also drawings and pictures hanging next to the bed, which suggests they want to show visitors the type of life they live by, who is in it (pictures) and what they do in life (draw). A schedule hangs on the wall with information for every day of the week, this suggests an organized student who likes to see what they have to do every day when they wake up (being right there on the wall as they do).
The second room has many decorations around the room, suggesting they love to show their interests and find as many common interests with visitors as possible. The room is also very colorful which could mean they want to set a certain mood for when visitors see. There are not only music posters but a record player which shows they love music and using older technology to play it. There are posters of common interest too, such as a television show and popular icon this person can be seen too look up too. The windows are covered with tapestries which suggests they like privacy and also design to show off their room.
The third room is covered in records on the walls and tapestries along with a DJ table set up. This all suggests they are crazy about music and want to show others how much they really are. The tapestries are bright and everywhere, which can mean they want a certain mood when you walk in the room or it can mean they love the artistic part of these. Which brings in the painting on the wall, suggesting they love art and to show visitors what they can do with their talents.
OVERVIEW
All of the rooms have similarities and differences about them. For instance, all three rooms have some type of music aspect to them; this is to show visitors what it is they're interested in music wise. Although the first room is bland and not colorful while the other two rooms are. This could mean anything, whether they're private, don't feel like its home, or simply just to lazy too care. All three rooms suggest at least some interests of the person who lives there even though the second two show a lot more than the first.
TIME DIARIES OVERVIEW
From looking at the pie charts you can see each student I interviewed makes sure to get enough sleep while trying to balance out the rest of their activities to do so. They all seem to have a balance between doing everything, such as homework and studying. The amount of class time varies because every students class schedule is different each day. Some students have jobs and have to find a way add that into the balance of things. Everyone seems to get a good amount of free time, whether they're hanging out with friends or watching television. Only a couple of these students also find time to go to the gym and keep up with their health, while others seem to either not have time to fit it in their schedule or simply don't care too. All around, the students seem to have a schedule they go by to balance the time for everything they have to do on a daily basis.
